Welcome home, Elder Liljenquist!
On June 29th, Wade came home from his mission in Portland!!!! What a nerve-wracking morning we had waiting and waiting for about 45 extra minutes to see him. We must have looked quite the sight with all 8 neices and nephews running around, a huge, bright yellow "Welcome Home" sign and cameras set to record. His plane came in about 10:30 am but there was a delay getting to the luggage because of so many people. At around 11:15 we finally spotted him at the top of the escalator and he ran down the stairs instead, touching maybe 3 of them! He ran right into my mom's arms. We were all a crying mess! What an amazing feeling it was to see him again! It got me thinking of how we must feel in heaven when we get to see someone again after a long separation. We love you, Wade, you really set an amazing example for everyone of us - especially your little nephews!

It is so exciting to welcome a missionary home! Just think- one of the next ones you will be welcoming home is PADEN... I won't make him grow up too fast or anything, but it's still something to think about.
