Fourth of July!

This morning we took a hike up Baer Canyon with Wade. The kids have gotten to be pretty good hikers and we love that! Kayla has had it with the backback lately, and she insisted on hiking too - until we realized that would take all day. We hurried home for some breakfast and then on to the Kaysville parade. As usual, (we seem to hit this parade every single year) the boys loved getting soaked at the end of the parade and Kayla wanted to be right there with them. The fireworks, on the other hand, she was not so excited about. All the Liljenquist cousins were huddled around grandma and the treats. Paden and Tyce were anxious for Kayla to see the fireworks, and when they started, she pulled the blanket over her head! Finally, she warmed up and decided that they were pretty. Yea!
