Epic Relay - Cache to Tetons

After a great Ragnar team last year, my sister, Ashley, decided to put a team together this year for a fairly new race, Epic Relays - Cache to Tetons. This year it was just the girls running for "Live N Let Run" . . . Ash, mom, me, Daisy (who came to our rescue two weeks prior to the race!), Betsy Moore (her husband, Matt was our driver), Jen Jensen, Steph Povey, Sarah Horne, Heather Horne, Darcy Boulton, Katie Stokes, and Ashley Sepulveda. It was a beautiful but tough 205 miles that started at 6am in Cache Valley (Smithfield) and took us through Caribou, Targhee and Teton national forests then finished in Teton Village. We had a blast and will never forget the unbeatable, freezing, full-moon night along the Oregon Trail and Blackfoot Reservoir shoreline. We came in at 34 hours, 49 minutes and placed 67th out of 92 teams.

What great pictures!!!!! I wish so bad I could have been the one to your rescue. This race is just bad timing for us. So much fun. I love relays. We've been talking about doing Red Rock in September of next year- maybe you guys can join us :)
