Little bits of heaven

I find that with each year that passes by, I become more aware of the real "treasures" in life. You know, the things that really matter most. The other day I found a quote from a very inspiring person, Marjorie Pay Hinkley. She illustrates so sweetly the attributes I hope to attain when all is said and done.
"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny, sports car,
wearing beautifully tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with
long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels
from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing
Sister Smith's lawn.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt
from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails
from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks
and tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived!"

I think it is kind of sad when our blogs are our only form of communicaton. I guess we are all just busy. Anyway to answer your ?, my header for my blog is just a picture of vinyl lettering then I just added the title :) James and Kaydee don't have a blog. James says he is going to be unique and not give into the blogging world. Give him a hard time for me and maybe he will give in! Hope all is well. Drop me a "comment" soon. Lots of love.
